The Claremont Centre is our newest centre offering a wealth of experience and opportunity.  We have everything from college courses and academic work through to string quartets, symphony orchestra and individual lessons.

The Claremont Centre is housed inside Claremont Methodist Church on Claremont Street.

From Loughborough.

• Take the A6 and follow it all the way to Red Hill Circle in Birstall (McDonalds Roundabout).   
• Take the 3rd Exit at the Roundabout on to Loughborough Road (NB Outdoor Pursuits Centre on your Left)
• Turn Left on to Checketts Road.
• You cannot turn direct into Claremont Street, so take the first Left in Bellholme Close and then first left again into Mortoft Road.
• Turn Right into Claremont Street and then take the first left into Linford Street.
• Parking is available in the car park at the front of the church.

M1 from the North (Nottingham)

• Take junction 22, and follow signs for A50 (Leicester)
• Carry on the A50 through Markfield and Groby
• At the A46 turn left towards Newarke.  Follow signs for the Space Centre.
• Turn off at Anstey (again follow signs for Space Centre)
• Take the third exit at the roundabout towards Leicester (A5640).
• Continue straight at the next roundabout (next to ambulance station).
• At the A563 turn left on to Krefeld Way (continue to follow signs for the Space Centre)
• Follow the A563 for 2km until you go down the hill (Red Hill Way)
• At the bottom of the hill next to the 'Last Straw' Pub take the third exit on the roundabout and continue on Red Hill Way (A563)
• Keep in the left lane (not the flyover) and come off at the Red Hill Circle.
• At the Red Hill Circle take the 4th exit - Loughborough Road (A6 - towards Leicester)
• At the second set of traffic lights turn left onto Checketts Road
• Turn left into Bellholme Close
• Turn left into Mortoft Road
• Turn right into Claremont Street
• Turn left into Linford Street

Parking is available in the church car park.  The entrance to the building is at the front of the building on Claremont Street.

M1 from the South (London)

• Take junction 21A, and follow signs for the National Space Centre (A46 - Newarke)
• After 5km turn off at Anstey (again follow signs for Space Centre)
• Take the third exit at the roundabout towards Leicester (A5640).
• Continue straight at the next roundabout (next to ambulance station).

The nearest station to Claremont Street is Syston railway station but only slightly further away and with many more trains serving it is Leicester Station. 

On arrival at Leicester station cross the main London Road and catch the number 22 First Service for Leicester (Rushey Mead).

This service carries on through Leicester and up the Melton Road (Golden Mile) to within 750 metres of our centre.  Get off the bus at Checketts Road.

When you leave the bus head back West in the direction of Loughborough Road.  You will pass an ink shop and the Jungle Club.  The last turning on the right is Claremont Street and you will find our centre is within the Claremont Methodist Church.
